I have a lot of people email me concerning the speed
of my homelan (cable) internet access. Here is a chart that represents
the speed. I will update it as time permits and it gets faster.
They are in the process of installing fiber optics which should inhance
the speed greatly. I'm looking for it to go to T2. They told
me that fiber optics should be in my neighborhood in the next two months.
Hopefully we will go digital cable as well. This is based on 1/20/01
at 8:45 P.M. current speed was 2400 Kbps or 294.1 k bytes/sec.
Some files on Netscape 6 came in at 176.8 bytes per second
on a download.
